Updated Coronavirus Policies

In order to protect you, our staff and the community, please note that our office policies have changed to address current recommendations in dealing with the coronavirus.

  1. If you have a fever, cough or feel sick, please cancel your appointment and notify your primary care doctor.

  2. If you have traveled internationally or to a domestic high-risk area, we prefer you to cancel your appointment for two weeks and self-quarantine.

  3. Non-urgent appointments such as routine skin checks should be rescheduled.

  4. We recommend you keep appointments for the following conditions:

  • skin cancers

  • spots concerning for skin cancer

  • painful or itchy skin rashes/conditions

  • medications that require monitoring.

These medical problems will worsen if left untreated. The hospitals do not want you in the emergency room for these skin conditions.

  1. If possible, do not bring guests. Please have them wait in a car in the parking lot.

  2. You will be asked to clean your hands in the waiting room and exam room.

  3. The waiting rooms will not have magazines. Please bring your own reading material.

  4. At times, consent may be verbal with a witness documented.

  5. During your visit, we will be taking temperatures, and sending you home if it is elevated.

  6. We will attempt to limit the number of people you encounter. All surfaces will be cleaned between patients. We will be washing our hands as well as wearing masks and gloves.

  7. We may need to put a mask on you if we feel that you are at risk.

  8. At check-out, we will call you to set-up the next appointment to limit waiting in our office. As always, there is hand sanitizer in this area.

We highly encourage patients to use Teledermatology during this time of uncertainty. Dr. Danny Del Campo will be available for teledermatology consultations in both live format and single-issue picture consultations. See our website for more details.
